Sandman Records Announces Winner of Lullaby Writing Contest

Bruce Fite of Nottingham, PA, wins Sandman Records & Baby Steps Magazine's Lullaby Writing Contest.

Santa Barbara, CA (PRWeb) April 11, 2007 -- Lanny Sherwin, President of the children's music label Sandman Records, has announced the winners of its first-ever Lullaby Writing Contest. The Contest is co-sponsored by Sandman Records & Baby Steps Magazine.

Says Sherwin, writer-producer of all four of Sandman Records' award-winning CDs: "There's a special bonding that music creates between parents and newborns. Every song a parent makes up and sings to his or her baby is a gift in the purest sense. We wanted to create an opportunity for Moms and Dads to share those most heartfelt emotions."

The prize? The First Place Winner will have his original lullaby professionally recorded courtesy of Sandman Records and posted on Sandman's website for all to listen.

The First Place Winner this year is Bruce Fite of Nottingham, PA with his beautiful lullaby: "'Til You Wake (Anna's Lullaby)".
