The 1st Annual San Fernando Bridal Expo, to be held from 10am -8pm on Saturday, April 14, 2007, will attract brides and quinceañeras from surrounding cities. Covering a 5 city block area, the expo will highlight over 30 wedding and quinceañera professionals, an open air stage featuring a special performance by La Sonora Dinamita. Prize giveaways include a honeymoon trip to the Bahamas, Dominican Republic or Mexico and a 3 room home furnishing.

Already known to locals as the mecca for anything and everything bridal, the 1st Annual San Fernando Bridal Expo, which will be held from 10am -8pm on Saturday, April 14, 2007, will attract brides and quinceañeras from surrounding cities, so they too can benefit from the great variety of services they can find for their special day. Hosted by the San Fernando Downtown Association, this open air event will showcase some of the best this vibrant city has to offer.

Covering a 5 city block area, the expo will highlight over 30 wedding and quinceañera professionals, offering services from bridal and quinceañera gowns to house wares. A fully loaded open air stage will feature some of the top wedding entertainers with a special performance from La Sonora Dinamita. Exiting prize giveaways include a 2 day, 3 night, all inclusive honeymoon trip to the Bahamas, Dominican Republic or Mexico and a 3 room home furnishing provided by La Fiesta Furniture.

“We are very excited about the response we’ve received from exhibitors and brides alike, who say that an event like this was a long time coming for the city of San Fernando,” says Juana Cuiriz, CEO of the San Fernando Downtown Association. President of the association, Victor Ceballos states that “what started of as a small idea of how to promote and enhance the city’s downtown area, has grown and gained a life of its own. We hope to prove that the city of San Fernando houses some of the best quality and services this industry has to offer, and that brides and quinceañeras can be confident in knowing that if they’re looking for it, they can find it here!”

To help plan and orchestrate this grand event, the association acquired the services of Event Specialist, Lenny Castillo, with Royalty Events, an event planning service operating out of San Fernando. “It’s amazing that with the growing strength of the Hispanic community, not just in numbers but in dollars, that there aren’t more entities seeking to fill the void experienced by this community, when we seek services that cater to our unique cultural needs.
