Charlotte Observer upgrades to CZAR II advertising system Main goal is to grow revenue through increased advertising flexibility and productivity. Sacramento (PRWeb) April 13, 2007 -- net-linx is pleased to announce that the Charlotte Observer has signed an agreement for CZAR II to upgrade their current advertising system.
The Charlotte Observer is a long-standing Sii/net-linx customer and this upgrade brings the site onto the same advertising platform as other McClatchy newspapers and will be able to share resources and tap into the existing knowledgebase.
The Charlotte Observer run 76 advertising workstations which are used to sell advertising for the daily paper and a number of zoned weekly/twice-weekly publications. CZAR II gives the Observer the benefit of easily packaging all of these publications onto a single order and provides room for additional growth.
Secondary to the CZAR II install will be the implementation of the CoyoteXA client, which provides even more flexibility, thanks to its extensible design. The client can easily be customized, can interface with 3rd party applications and databases, and will ultimately shorten the training curve for new hires.
The increased flexibility and productivity will allow the Observer to streamline their workflow with many automated and optimized processes, thus reducing overheads and operating costs. The increased flexibility in scheduling and managing a complete range of advertising content will help increase revenues.
