TelcoBridges Announces Net Solutions Europe (NSE) Has Obtained BT Network Integration Facility (NIF) Approval at the Highest Level

NSE's next generation carrier-grade switch, built using TelcoBridges' carrier-grade telecom platform, has been approved for SS7 interconnection to BT's network for unlimited route capacity.

Montreal, Quebec, Canada (PRWeb) April 17, 2007 -- TelcoBridges Inc. announces the next generation carrier-grade switch built by Net Solutions Europe (NSE) on TelcoBridges' proven carrier-grade telecom platform has passed, at the highest level possible, the rigorous testing required by British Telecom's NIF approval process. NSE's system has been approved for interconnection to BT's network for unlimited route capacity, enabling service providers to interconnect with BT's network using SS7 signaling.

TelcoBridges' telecom platform integrates the features needed for carrier-grade operations, such as density, scalability, high-availability and fault tolerance, all of which contributed to the speedy and successful NIF approval.

For VoIP service providers, NSE can use TelcoBridges' TB-VoIP Mezzanine™ and SIP signaling. All traffic is handed off to the BT network over TDM interfaces with SS7 signaling capabilities.

NSE's managed solution operates from geographically diverse locations in the UK with routes to the USA running to Boston and New York, via unconventional routes through Southport and Southern Ireland, in addition to traditional routes through London and southern UK fiber paths. NSE's managed solution currently benefits from an interconnection capacity to BT and other service providers in excess of 175 E1s.
