NABSP Announces Atlanta Chapter Executive Officers The National Association of Black Sports Professionals, Inc. (NABSP) announces its executive officers for the Atlanta chapter. The NABSP Atlanta chapter will offer a tremendously progressive network of professionals who are committed to bridging the professional gaps among Black sports professionals in the Atlanta area. New York (PRWeb) April 6, 2007 -- The National Association of Black Sports Professionals, Inc. (NABSP) announces its executive officers for the Atlanta chapter.
The NABSP Atlanta chapter will offer a tremendously progressive network of professionals who are committed to bridging the professional gaps among Black sports professionals in the Atlanta area.
"I am truly excited and pleased to add the Atlanta chapter to our list of established chapter cities," said NABSP Founder and Chairman Kristi Stepteau. "This is a clear example of the growth NABSP is experiencing. Chapter development is at the forefront of our organizational objectives, as it will serve to strengthen our ability to achieve the overall mission and goals of NABSP."
The Atlanta chapter executive officers are:
President -- Sabrina Jenkins, Director, Special Events - Atlanta Braves
Vice-President -- John Shumate, Southeast Regional Sports Marketing Manager, Gatorade
Secretary -- Tene' Sherelle Davis, Managing Partner, Davis & Associates, LLC
Treasurer -- Lisle Dorsey, Ticket Sales, Atlanta Braves
"The Atlanta chapter executive officers are looking forward to making NABSP a networking powerhouse for Black sports professionals who are striving to move up in their current positions within the sports or sports related industries," said Jenkins. "We are also extremely excited about the opportunity to create a pipeline for our youth who are actively seeking a career in the sports industry."
