Oorah Radiothon: Entertaining, Thought-Provoking Essential Kiruv

More than half-million Jews are expected to tune into radio stations across the country as Oorah's Chinese Auction Winners are drawn. In addition, one can listen in on a great debate as renowned Jewish figures share their views on current hot topics.

Lakewood, NJ (PRWEB) May 4, 2007 -- On May 12, more than a half-million Jews in communities across North America are expected to tune into the kiruv fundraising event of the year - Oorah's Radiothon.

The all-night program will be co-hosted this year by renowned speaker, writer and long-time Oorah activist, Rabbi Moshe Meir Weiss, beloved Jewish radio and music personality Country Yossi, and Jewish music star Lipa Schmeltzer. Other scheduled guests include prestigious Rabbonim, well-known political figures and top names in the music world, including the legendary Avraham Fried.

The Radiothon is the last chance to call-in entries for a selection of 46 luxury prizes (http://www.oorah.org/auction/2007/5_prize.htm) , with each entry priced at only $5, plus bonus prizes such as a $20,000 shopping spree, a year's worth of travel around the world and $10,000 in cash.
