Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 3, 2007 -- DNA Creative Media, Inc. (http://www.dnacreativemedia.com) CEO, Damon Harman, has signed Point Of View Films (http://www.povfilms.com/) as a strategic production partner for ReNew Orleans (http://www.reneworleanstv.com/) , a documentary style television series featuring the development of a 23,000 square foot Community Center in Mid-City New Orleans. Academy-Award winner Louis Gossett Jr. will host the television show and has signed on as an Executive Producer. Point Of View Films founder, Jonathan Nixon, will supervise all aspects of production and post.

This is not the first production for the Harman/Nixon team. The creative duo produced "Taildaters" and "Burned" for MTV and "Pulled Over" for the Style Network. Harman and Nixon were also the creative force behind numerous commercials and network promos.

ReNew Orleans will focus on the food, music and culture of New Orleans. "We want the world to experience New Orleans before the storm," says Harman. The series will feature the people of New Orleans and the multi-cultural co-existence of humanity during tragic times as well as day to day struggles turned into victories. Point Of View Films' Nixon adds, "New Orleans is the star of the series and the construction of the Community Center provides the backdrop."

Harman founded DNA Creative Media, Inc. in 2006 as a full service advertising/marketing agency with a niche specialization in branded programming. DNA is promoting a new type of branded entertainment, with full corporate sponsorship involvement. Each of the ReNew Orleans sponsors is directly involved in all aspects of construction and the television series surrounding of the center. Using this new model, Harman hopes to produce multiple seasons of the ReNew Orleans program. "We hope to improve New Orleans block by block," said Harman.
