Pierce The Veil Signs Recording Contract with Equal Vision Records

San Diego based rock band Pierce The Veil have signed a recording contract with indie label, Equal Vision Records. Debut album in stores June 26th. National tours confirmed all summer long.

Albany, NY (PRWEB) May 7, 2007 -- San Diego based rock band Pierce The Veil (http://www.myspace.com/piercetheveil) have signed with independent label, Equal Vision Records - home to emerging rock acts Chiodos, Circa Survive, and Fear Before The March of Flames.

Over the past year, Pierce The Veil have been building a solid fan base in the underground SoCal music scene that birthed blink-182, Pinback, As I Lay Dying, and Thrice, among countless others. Pierce The Veil is next in line to break into the mainstream with their unique brand of melody and artistic rhythm found on their debut album, A Flair For The Dramatic.

Pierce The Veil's unusual song structures provide the foundation for complex guitar lines and contrasting beautiful / abrasive vocals to mingle and form each and every memorable hook. The undeniable sonic connection between brothers Victor and Michael Fuentes (guitar/vocals and percussion, respectively) jumps out of the crisp-sounding album, which was recorded by up-and-coming producer Casey Bates (Chiodos,Fear Before The March of Flames, Portugal The Man) at his suburban Seattle studios.

A Flair For The Dramatic will be released on June 26th, 2007. Keep an eye out for Pierce The Veil performing this spring with Poison The Well, Portugal The Man, Alesana, Fear Before The March of Flames, and more in anticipation of this remarkable debut album.
