Life Achievement Award to Angel Orensanz

A conglomerate of Aragon professional associations such as the Aragonese Association for the Development of Culture, Tourism and Enterprise (AIDCA), "Cosas de Aragon" magazine, publishers group "Discover Aragon" and "Discover the Wines of Aragon" has granted artist Angel Orensanz a Life Achievement Award for his World Art Values.

New York (PRWEB) May 5, 2007 -- A conglomerate of Aragon professional associations such as the Aragonese Association for the Development of Culture, Tourism and Enterprise (AIDCA), "Cosas de Aragon" magazine, publishers group "Discover Aragon" and "Discover the Wines of Aragon" has granted artist Angel Orensanz a Life Achievement Award for his World Art Values.

The award ceremony will take place the evening of this coming May 3rd at the Palacio de la Aljaferia; a world landmark of Arab and Christian architecture that presently houses the Parliament of Aragon, in Zaragoza (Spain).

Angel Orensanz was born in the Alto Aragon (The Pyrenees) and has developed a world art carrier in fine arts, film and video. His work ca be seen in such collections like the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg as well as the Biblioteca Nacional of Madrid and the Accademia Internazionale d'Arte Moderna de Roma.
