Lore Announces the Release of Her New Painting 'Grumpy Lore has portrayed a unique representation of emotion in her latest painting. Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 8, 2007 -- Celebrated artist Lore Eckelberry has just recently completed a 60"x72" painting of a face filling the entire canvas with powerful contrasting colors portraying a unique and yet very strong emotion of character. Lore's work can be seen at www.loreeckelberry.com
Lore's latest series of work uses broad areas of wonderful tones of color carefully combined to convey the strong emotion of the subject. In this particular painting, Lore portrays the emotion of anger by a representation of a face glaring directly at you. One is startled by the emotion transmitted through the eyes of the subject.
The face is painted in a coral shade of pink that amazingly transforms the colors around it and combines them in a unified composition. Lore utilizes a very matte and smooth texture of paint that further sharpens the contrast between colors. The way the lines are painted, they disappear to become a strong flowing composition.
Lore says: "I am fascinated by life that surrounds me. The people around me are my inspiration for my latest pieces of work."
