Nitobi Releases J2EE Update of Ajax Components, Talks Ajax at JavaOne Nitobi Inc. releases a new J2EE version of Complete UI, its suite of Ajax components. Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) May 8, 2007-- Tomorrow Nitobi Inc. will release a new J2EE version of Complete UI, its suite of Ajax components that includes Grid, Combobox, Callout, Fisheye, Tabstrip, Tree and Nitobi's Ajax Toolkit. The major new features in tomorrow's release of Complete UI include:
• Eclipse IDE Support - Drag and drop Nitobi components into Eclipse projects using the Web Tools Platform (WTP), enabling quick templating of component configurations. All the JavaScript, and CSS includes and setup are masked from the developer.
• Convenient JSP Taglibs - Add Ajax to projects while avoiding the grunt work of including JavaScript, CSS files, and writing initialization code.
• Improved Servlet Support - Nitobi's simplified Java API makes binding to servlets quick and easy.
• Hibernate - The improved API simplifies databinding to POJOs used with Hibernate.
• Support for Struts 2.0 and Earlier - Nitobi's server API now includes support for Struts environments.
• Spring Framework Support - Samples and support documentation enable smooth integration of Nitobi components with Spring-based applications.
Nitobi CTO Dave Johnson explains what the new release means to Java developers: "With the combination of improved programmatic support for Java frameworks such as Struts along with the JSP taglib and drag and drop support for Eclipse, our latest release of Complete UI for Java provides developers with an easier way than ever before to get their applications up and running as fast as possible."
Complete UI comes with a wide variety of code samples and snippets to help developers get up to speed quickly. This release precedes a major upgrade to Complete UI later in the summer. Pricing starts at US $429.
This release coincides with Nitobi's presentation at JavaOne on May 9, 2007 on new ways to test, debug and document rich, Ajax-enabled web apps. With a growing emphasis on Ajax-enabled web applications, Johnson's presentation, Practical Parallels: From Development on the Java Platform to Development with the JavaScript Programming Language, is especially relevant for Java EE.
