Michael Toner chairs the Election Law and Government Affairs Practice Group at Bryan Cave LLP in Washington, DC. Mr. Toner previously served as chairman of the Federal Election Commission (FEC) in 2006 and as a Commissioner from 2002-2006. Prior to serving at the FEC, Mr. Toner was chief counsel of the Republican National Committee. Mr. Toner's writings on campaign finance matters have been featured in publications including The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Washington Times, Hill Newspaper and Roll Call.
