Holiday Home Retailer Siblu Continues Spending Spree

Siblu plans £5m parc investment

Pessac, France (PRWEB) May 14, 2007 -- Holiday homes (http://www.sibluexclusif.com) specialist siblu today launches le domaine de litteau, the company's first parc in the holiday property hotspot of Calvados, in Normandy.

Le domaine de litteau is the 11th parc and the group's third purchase of the year following a €150m private equity investment in 2006.

The trim two-star site is nestled on the edge of Cerisy Forest close to the picturesque town of Bayeux. The parc gently slopes away giving all visitors views of the surrounding countryside.

Siblu will invest around £5m over several years to develop infrastructure and facilities, with the aim of expanding le domaine de litteau into Normandy's best quality holiday parc.

Over 4,000 families own luxurious mobile homes (http://www.sibluexclusif.com) in France across the 11 siblu holiday parcs. Prices start from just £24,000 for a new two-bedroom home with kitchen, shower and living room, making it an affordable way to own a second property.

Leslie Hurst, siblu CEO says: "Traditional close-to-Paris favourites such as Deauville and Caen are becoming overcrowded and overpriced. The Bessin area west of Caen is set to be the next premium property hot spot and we're thrilled to be part of that with le domaine de litteau.

"Calvados is the milk-cart capital of France! It's a beautiful, rural region, famous for its milk, cream and cheeses, apple orchards and hidden fishing ports."

As well as a pool, restaurant and fishing on the mobile home parc, the countryside around le domaine de litteau is captivating, with empty prairies, cool wooded valleys and the Cerisy Forest. The nearby town of Bayeux, with its famous Tapestry, the stunning Mont St Michel and the picturesque countryside of 'Suisse Normande' along the Gorges of the River Orne are more must sees.

With the acquisition of le domaine de litteau, siblu has bought three new mobile holiday home (http://www.sibluexclusif.com) parcs in 2007 - Les Pierres Couchées in Loire Atlantique and Domaine De Dugny in Loire Valley.
