The dates for this annual event are June 15 - June 17, 2007. Glenwood Springs, CO (PRWEB) May 17, 2007 -- There's a lot of giddy-up in Glenwood Springs for the 110th Strawberry Days in Glenwood Springs, the oldest celebration in the west on June 15, 16 and 17, 2007. This year's retro-western theme is "Rhinestone Roundup" so there will be plenty of pretty cowgirls waving from the parade floats. Longstanding traditions include the crowning of Miss Strawberry Days and free ice cream and strawberries served to everyone in the park.
The festivities will be in Sayre Park, located at Grand Avenue and Hyland Park Drive, with lively music, favorite foods like funnel cakes and turkey legs, and a beer garden. Artisans selected to display their crafts go through a discriminating jury process to ensure high-quality goods. There will also be a carnival located at the American Warehouse Furniture parking lot in the Roaring Fork Marketplace on south Blake Avenue.
