Controversial Test to Reveal Whether Americans Actually Believe in the Easy Road to Success Experiment by entrepreneur L.P. Rodriguez to discover whether Americans actually buy into the myth also raises money for charity. Dayton, Ohio / May 16, 2007 - A controversial test could reveal whether Americans really believe in the easy road to success (www.TheEasyRoadtoSuccess.com).
In ads for the modeling industry and in the pop ups pushing web site development, the carrot is constantly dangled: Do this or do that and you'll be on your way to the easy road to success.
"I think many Americans still believe in the easy road to success and they're desperately trying to find it," says entrepreneur L.P. Rodriguez. "There's a reason you see the lure used in commercials and for business opportunities."
Rodriguez says most people believe there's an easy road, because they want to be rich but are not willing to work hard to get rich.
The Controversial Test
Rodriguez published a book called "The Easy Road to Success." (www.TheEasyRoadtoSuccess.com) The title leads one to believe it's a guide to finding the easy road to wealth.
But it's not. It's really a journal, filled with lined pages.
Rodriguez is selling these books but how many Americans will buy the book to cash into the dream?
The "book" is being sold to gauge public perception: as an experiment to discover how many people will buy into the dream only to learn when they receive the book that there is no easy road to success (www.TheEasyRoadtoSuccess.com).
The goal is to change attitudes about how we as a society define success and to raise money for charity. Half the proceeds from book sales go to not-for-profits.
