Serious Art by Artisans of the Knifemakers' Guild Showcase Their Newest Knife Designs

Knifemakers' Guild 38th Annual Knife Show July 26-29, 2007 Orlando, FL, Buena Vista Place Resort.

Tampa, FL (PRWEB) May 18, 2007 -- Members of the Knifemakers' Guild have taken the art of knife making to a whole new realm of excellence, the likes of which have to be seen and handled to really appreciate. Handles are fashioned from some of the most exotic materials imaginable such as the tusk of a wooly mammoth which roamed the earth 25 thousand years ago or perhaps the iridescent black mother-of-pearl from the depths of the Pacific Ocean.

Thousands of collectors, investors and sportsmen from around the world attend the Knifemakers' Guild Show each year to view these exquisite pieces of work and to meet their favorite artists and craftsmen. Several hundred of the guild's custom knife makers will be displaying and selling their latest knife designs. "Whether an attendee wants a knife to add to their collection or a using knife they will definitely find the perfect knife for them," commented a Guild member.

The Knifemakers' Guild was established in 1970 and their first show was held in Las Vegas, NV. After 38 years the Guild has 300+ dedicated members from the United States and 12 other countries whose purpose is to preserve and promote the art of handmade knives with "integrity and excellence". www.knifemakersguild.com
