Sarasota, FL (PRWEB) May 22, 2007 --- OceanGrown, Inc. today announced record sales of their OceanSolution® (http://oceangrown.com/products.html) and SeaSolution® (http://oceangrown.com/products.html) fertilizers. These unique products are extracted from seawater and contain over 90 naturally balanced minerals and micronutrients that contribute to plant health and vigor.

Most people are amazed that these products work so well because they have been taught to think seawater and salts are detrimental to plants" says company President and CEO John Hartman. When they learn that ocean water actually holds the perfect balance of nutrients for plant life, they are genuinely surprised."

The original discovery of ocean water minerals being beneficial to plant life is generally credited to the late Dr. Maynard Murray, author of the book "Sea Energy Agriculture". Using Dr. Murrays research, OceanGrown has been able to develop a method to extract these minerals from seawater.

To do this, the OceanGrown company ship goes far out to sea to harvest" clean, unpolluted ocean water. That seawater is then processed right on board, using the companys proprietary process to extract the 90 plus minerals. After arriving onshore, each batch of extracted seawater is then quality tested by an independent laboratory.

From the extracted solution OceanGrown makes three bio-friendly products: OceanSolution, which is approved for organic use. SeaSolution P", a blend containing humates, which is used at planting time and SeaSolution F", a blend containing growth enhancing carbons, which is used as a foliar spray. Because these products are super concentrated liquids, they are also easy to use; 1 part of OceanSolution® or SeaSolution® is mixed with 100 parts of water and then applied.

Most other fertilizer products on the market are strong on NPK; nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium and contain relatively few minerals. OceanGrown products however contain a full complement of naturally balanced minerals and plant nutrients. This balanced plant nutrition results in increased yields, fewer disease problems and lower input costs for most growers. A significant improvement in the flavor and shelf life of fruits and vegetables grown with OceanSolution® is also reported.

Part of OceanGrowns growth is tied to the rising consumer demand for organic and whole foods. However, it has not just been the organic market that has boosted sales. Conventionial farmers have found that OceanGrown products work well in their fertility programs too.

With customers and dealers in the U.S., Canada, Australia and the U.K., OceanGrown continues to seek new dealers for further expansion. John Hartman closed by saying Our sales are experiencing double digit growth, and we feel it is because we are the right company with the right product at the right time."

OceanGrown, Inc. (http://oceangrown.com/index.htm) is recognized as a world leader in products for sustainable and organic agriculture. Commercial farms, orchards, tree nurseries, parks, golf courses, and the lawn and garden market all use OceanGrown products.
