Marianne LeBlanc, principal at Sugarman, has been elected President of the Women's Bar Foundation of Massachusetts, and will serve a one-year term effective January 2007.

Boston, Massachusetts (PRWEB) January 1, 2007 -- Marianne LeBlanc, principal at Sugarman, has been elected President of the Women's Bar Foundation of Massachusetts, and will serve a one-year term effective January 2007.

The WBF is the charitable affiliate of the Women's Bar Association of Massachusetts and works to establish an equitable legal system, to promote social and economic equity for women, and to meet the legal needs of women and their children through an array of pro bono services. Current pro bono programs focus on battered women, elder law, incarcerated women, housing court, judicial consent for minors, rape law, and other issues within the client population.
