Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 5, 2007 -- Utilizing the power of online videos, celebrity star-power, and voices from leading authorities on art, culture and the environment, CultureCollective.org presents an inspired and hopeful look at some of our planets' most distressing issues.
Culture Collective was founded by Jacob Devaney of Living Folklore, Inc. a nationally recognized arts and education organization, and sponsored by The Creative Visions Foundation founded by Kathy and Amy Eldon, who are recipients of numerous award-winning film documentaries and books. Inspired by The Lakota White Buffalo Prophecies which paint a hopeful future of people coming together across cultural and religious lines to heal the planet and create peace, CultureCollective.org invites its' audience to action in this noble cause.
The site contains never before seen footage of indigenous elders sharing ancient wisdom, prophecies, and ceremony, including interviews with artists like Bret Blevins, David Carson along with ecological solutions from Al Gore, Andrew Millison of The Eco-Hood, and John Todd of Ocean Arks Institute. Culture Collective also hosts humorous contributions for families and children with Giggly Sprout and Gumbo Wobbly, and the searing new "Cry for New Orleans" video produced by David Floeter, and sung by Grammy Winning artist, Cyril Neville of The Neville Brothers. Other live music videos include Tab Benoit and The Voice of The Wetlands Band.
10 Mothers, a story of gun violence and forgiveness by Chase Bowman along with a talk by Tibetan Monk, Palden Gyatso address the common suffering and simultaneous strength and capacity for healing within the human spirit. Videos also include wisdom from Dr. Emoto of "What The Bleep" fame, a feature on the importance of water, and clips from Steve Copeland's new film, "Shift of The Ages".
CultureCollective.org is a destination for the growing community of people who are determined to make a better world for future generations, for people who are not afraid to look at our current global problems with an open heart and become part of the solution.
