Sunrise, FL (PRWEB) June 7, 2007 -- Learn.com®, the leader in on-demand workforce development and productivity, announced today that Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), a leading provider of technical skills training, with headquarters in College Station, Texas, has selected the Learn.com LearnCenter® platform, to provide on-demand training to its employees and global customers.
After researching many of the leading talent management vendors, Learn.com was selected based on the company's outstanding reputation and the LearnCenter platform's superior feature set and extensive flexibility. The Learn.com support team was very knowledgeable and understanding of TEEX's needs and allowed them to utilize a "sandbox" to demo test the LearnCenter's use and features.
TEEX needed a mechanism to provide a Web-based platform to deliver training to their internal employees as well as to more than 60,000 customers worldwide. TEEX will implement stand-alone web-based courses as well as a blended learning approach and expects to offer 7-20 Web-based training courses for external customers within the first year after deployment.
