Showcased in Atlanta on June 2nd at the annual NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) conference, the Make Mine a $Million Business contest recognized eight influential women entrepreneurs by providing them a chance to win working capital, mentoring, and marketing opportunities to assist the growth of their small businesses. Count Me In for Women’s Economic Independence, the founder of the Make Mine a $Million Business initiative, is partnered with OPEN from American Express®. Representing the Information Technology sector, Lynn presented her RenovoData business by giving an elevator pitch and answering questions from a panel of judges. “It was a great experience to participate in such a compelling event here this weekend,” noted the excited RenovoData President. Each winner will receive a package of seed money and other mentoring and marketing tools to grow their business. Specifically, winners will receive up to $50,000 in funding from OPEN, equipment from Cisco worth $20,000, a year of mentoring, and professional marketing assistance.
