Free-iq-test.com website visitor numbers soar as people prepare for the return of "Test the Nation".

More than nine million people watched the national IQ test earlier this year to find out how intelligent they are. Test the Nation invited viewers to take part on the internet or through digital TV remote controls.

Almost 100,000 people took the test with Weakest Link presenter Anne Robinson. A cross between a TV game show and an internet quiz, the show promised to dispel myths about who has the most brain-power.

"It was a highly interactive entertainment format that pushed technology to its limit but also allowed viewers to take part either with pen and paper, online or via interactive TV," she said.

The "test the nation" format was devised by a Dutch production company, Eyeworks, which has created national tests for other aspects of life including lifestyle, happiness, manners and sex.
