London, UK (PRWEB) June 17, 2007 -- The second Authentication Connections Forum (ACF) returns from 18th-20th September 2007 in Minneapolis. Like the debut ACF held last year in Florida, the forum gives users and providers of authentication technologies and products an invaluable opportunity to connect with government agencies and each other, helping make anti counterfeiting technologies effective against piracy and fake products. This year, the focus is on Integrating Authentication in Practice and promises an enlightening selection of presentations, case studies and practical examples of how anti counterfeiting techniques can be effectively integrated into brand protection and document security.

The Authentication Connections Forum will cover all aspects of integrating anti counterfeiting solutions along the entire distribution chain, from the production line to the customer's own inspection at the point of sale. Such total authentication solutions require links between everyone in the chain - technologies, providers, customers, the public and the private sector. The ACF intends to foster such relationships which are imperative to the development of the anti counterfeiting industry's fight against fake products and piracy.

Guest speakers will be discussing authentication in their own field over the course of the two days of the forum, with representatives from various sectors, including the cosmetics, pharmaceutical and music industries, discussing the anti counterfeiting security measures they have been undertaking at different stages in production. This year will also see a workshop focussed on the changing legal environment related to counterfeiting and how the authentication industry will be affected. In total there are over twenty speakers involved in brand protection and document security discussing their own views on anti counterfeiting methods, and there are also four scheduled panel discussions where the experts will answer questions and debate the future of authentication.

The second Authentication Connections Forum, as before, will be accompanied by an exhibition of the latest anti counterfeiting technologies, systems and services offered by some of the leading suppliers within the authentication field. A full itinerary for the two days of the forum, including the speakers and a list of topics, can be viewed online at http://www.acf-acd.com/index.php?action=loadpage&levelno=0&thestack=&pageid=938&minisiteid=

Delegates can register their place at the event by visiting the Authentication Connection Forum website (www.acf-acd.com), and there is a discount available for all bookings made before 30th June 2007.
