Las Vegas Poker Tournament to Benefit Homeless and At-Risk Children

The tournament will benefit Las Vegas children's charity, Corps of Compassion. The Corps of Compassion provides meals to homeless and at-risk children in the Las Vegas area.

(PRWEB) July 9, 2007 -- The Small Town Poker Tour Pro Am will take place July 13, 2007 at 12:00 PM. and will benefit the Corps of Compassion.

There are approximately 4,000 homeless and at-risk children in Las Vegas. The Corps of Compassion currently delivers backpacks of food to over 700 children in 14 Las Vegas schools every single weekend.

"The Corp of Compassion needs help to expand their efforts, and I hope all caring poker players come out to support them," stated Mark Fracalossi STPT Creator.

The Tournament will be held at the South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa in Las Vegas. The Tournament is open to all poker players both amateur and pro. The seats are very limited and reservations are encouraged. Contact the South Point Poker Room to guarantee a position.

The Buy-In for the tournament is $200 + $60. You will receive $1500 in tournament chips. Plus $100 Re-Buys. The tournament will be fast paced with blind levels changing every 20 minutes.
