Chesham (PRWEB) July 13, 2007 -- Pod3.tv, the UK's fastest growing video-podcast webTV company, expands the wide range of video on demand (VoD) shows available from their website by launching a new series of video podcasts covering the world of motorbikes.

"Our video podcast webTV show "Byxx & Stuff" provides a great commercial platform for anyone involved in motorbikes to get their commercial messages in front of the 500,000,000 users of iTunes," says Neil Fairbrother, founder of pod3.tv. "We're delighted with this first show and will soon be publishing our second one."

In the first show, pod3.tv goes all cloak and daggerish as they visit a secret military support establishment to review a 2-wheel drive motorbike. They are also in the workshop with Ricky Ross and Andy Peck of Team Spidey as they prepare their 1000cc Aprillia RSV Mille for The Sound of Thunder Championship. Ricky explains the arcane skills of wheel balancing and Andy provides a guided tour of his decidedly non-standard bike. Pod3.tv's Byxx & Stuff show also covers the recent launch of Dunlop's new road tyres for performance bikes, as part of Dunlop's "From Race to Road" strategy. The technicians behind the development of Dunlop's multi-compound rubber discuss the technology in detail; John McGuinness, Leon Haslam and Steve Parrish give their views of this innovation. Craig Jones provides a master class in how to perform the ultimate stoppie from Craig Jones and his wing man Wing, who must be the maddest man on the planet.

"We think this show is brilliant!" says an enthusiastic Andy Peck. "The pod3 crew are approachable, professional and we're thrilled to be part of it all. We think Byxx & Stuff has a great future - it's like a 21st century bike magazine on your video iPod".

Neil left when Neos was sold in 2003 to Scottish & Southern Energy plc. Neil had the idea for pod3.tv at the January 2006 planning meeting of Maidenhead Ecademy - a networking meeting of local businesses that meets monthly at Norden Farm. The first round of funding was secured in the summer of 2006 from Music Systems Ltd, now rebranded as pod3av.com.

About Podcasting

Voted "Word of the Year 2005" and invented in 2004, podcasts are audio or video files that can be downloaded via an "RSS" link into browsers or iTunes. If into iTunes they can then be downloaded into iPods, the most popular podcast player on the planet with > 85% market share. All the major broadcasters are moving into this space as a cost-effective and convenient way of distributing their content - BBC Radio 4's "Listen Again" service uses audio-podcasts.
