CAI Launches Global Professional Human Resource (GPHR) Certification Study Course

With an increasing global market, it is imperative for HR professionals to be globally knowledgable. To address this need, CAI is launching the Global Professional Human Resource (GPHR) Certification Study Course starting in September in Raleigh, NC to prepare human resource professionals for the GPHR Examinations from HRCI. The first of its kind in the Triangle, this 10 session program focuses on global human resource topics and the six functional areas of the HR body of knowledge.

Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) July 13, 2007 -- CAI launches the Global Professional Human Resource Certification Study Course to prepare human resource practitioners, executives, and professionals for the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) examinations for the GPHR exam in December 2007. The 10-week study course begins in Raleigh on September 7th for a total of 10 sessions.

The series focuses on global human resource topics applicable to the six functional areas of the HR body of knowledge covered on the GPHR exam including: Strategic Management, Global Staffing, International Employee Relations, Organization Effectiveness and Employee Development, Global Compensation and Benefits, and International Assignments. The GPHR study course features interactive audio CDs, online video and quizzes, and a study manual for participants. David Siler, PHR, SPHR, GPHR, instructs.

The dates for the GPHR Certification Study Course are 9/7, 9/14, 9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 10/26, 11/2, 11/16, and 11/30. The time is 9:00am-12:00pm at CAI, located at 2900 Highwoods Blvd., Suite 100, in Raleigh, NC.

About David Siler

The instructor, David Siler, SPHR, GPHR, has been teaching PHR and SPHR prep courses for more than a dozen years and has helped hundreds achieve their PHR or SPHR certification. David has over 25 years of experience as a senior level HR practitioner. He has served two terms on the Board of Directors for the Society of Human Resource Managers (SHRM) for North Carolina, he is a two-time Past-President of the Central Carolina Personnel Association, and is a Past-President of the Alamance County Human Resources Executive Association.

He is a frequent lecturer to business and HR professionals on many HR related topics. He has developed and taught a prep class for the certification exams (PHR and SPHR) since 1994 with an overall passing rate of 90%-plus for his students.
