New West Technologies rolls out new version of mobility software for retailers.

Formerly named Mobile POS, the new Mobile Cashier identifies the retail employee's role with a it's name and serves as an essential tool in the evolving retail market. Mobile Cashier fully integrates with Microsoft Dynamics point of sale applications. It allows retailers to perform payment processing of cash, checks and credit cards on any Windows MobileTM device.

The new feature set includes a fully automated offline sales mode which allows the retailer to be in or out of range and still conduct sales. When the cashier moves outside the network, the Mobile Cashier automatically goes into offline mode, stores the transaction, then resumes immediately when back in range and processes the transaction.
