Hong Kong, HK (PRWEB) July 19, 2007 -- It's been just around a month since our last update on the development of SideQuest Studios' Söldner-X: Himmelsstürmer, a shoot'em up initiated and fully supported by Play-Asia.com. Production is running full speed at the moment and Play-Asia.com is glad to have a lot more first hand information to share this time.

26 new World 1 work in progress Screenshots

A total of 26 new screenshots have been uploaded to Söldner-X's official website. Covered this time is the first world, called "Soldier unleashed" at a development stage of about 50%. Don't forget that these are work in progress images, so content is still subject to change. There have been quite a few improvements that can easily be spotted in direct comparison with last month's screenshots.

Soldier unleashed is where the adventure begins. The first setting contains three beautifully designed stages, including a hi-tech skyscrapers filled science-fiction city, a mysterious and diversified jungle, as well as a destroyed city with ruins and debris, providing a dusky scenery. You will also get a glimpse of the very first boss battle.

Game details: Stages, Extras & G.U.I.

SideQuest Studio has further started to reveal some more detailed information at Söldner-X's official website.

First of all, both stages covered during the last updates can now be found in the new Stages section. No details about World 2 and World 4 have been revealed so far, but SideQuest has promised a lot of diversification and more details to follow during the next couple of weeks.

Söldner-X features a variety of more than 20 bonus items, now compiled in the Extras page. Next to a number of weapon, energy and bonus score extras, a couple of additional interesting items are yet to be confirmed. Extras will be dropped during the game by destroyed foes.

Last but not least, an explanation about onscreen details can be found in the G.U.I. (Graphical User Interface) section.

Poll: For which system would you like to see Söldner-X developed?

There have been a lot of rumours and questions related to what platform Söldner-X is going to be released for. Though no official announcement has been made so far, you can now express your opinion by entering the poll, that is located on soldner-x.com's main page. There's no guarantee that the game will eventually be released for the system that receives most votes, but it's nevertheless interesting to see what most gamers are hoping for.

Choices include PlayStation3™, Xbox360™ (both as either disc or downloadable release) and PC. A bit surprisingly, the PC platform is currently leading, but it's still an early lead at the moment.
