Bradford Based Safestyle Scores For Yorkshire Air Ambulance

Yorkshire-based Safestyle UK fielded a strong five-a-side soccer team to compete in the annual charity event organised by solicitors, Gordons which raised more than £1000 for the flying ambulance fleet. A total of ten teams were invited to compete at the Kirkstall, Leeds five-a-side centre, Goals and Safestyle, led by its stars Dave Owen and Jason Lawford, fought its way through the rounds to finish runners-up to the Baker Tilley team.

John Ross, the Chief Executive of the Style Group, Safestyle's parent company, commented: "This was a great result because as a Group we have a strong corporate responsibility programme, where we remain committed to trying to help local charities while at the same time helping our staff to enjoy their employment. Our team has been invited to return for the 2008 tournament and has high hopes of bringing the title to Bradford, the location of our head office."
