Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) July 24, 2007 -- Zeha Berlin, the legendary sports shoe maker, furthers its Olympian reputation with its Fall/Winter 2007 collection and sneak peaks of Spring/Summer 2008 at the Vegas WSA Show - World Shoe Association.

Hot on the trail of its successful showing at New York's Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) stores, Zeha sprints ahead of the pack with both its latest innovations in cult-classic sportswear designs, as well as stunning 1930's inspired high-fashion. Zeha's iconic double-slash design graces a wide array of colorful starters, trainers, and pro footwear, while the Zeha Urban Classics styles add street shoes and boots to the mix.

As Zeha leaps from the rubble of the fallen Berlin Wall, its new designs only strengthen its time-honored reputation. From major stores in Berlin, Zeha now graces the premiere shelves of Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Munich. Fine craftsmanship placed Zeha designs right next to the best in Europe, such as at the fashionable Biffi in Italy, l´escalier in Oslo, Norway, and Affär as well as Hipster in Zürich, Switzerland.

The trendy international flavor of Zeha's comfortable shoes finds them in Osaka's Inherite, which carries only the hottest high-end labels du jour. Twinshop, a new Moscow shop carrying only the world's top brands, has included Zeha in its starting lineup.

Known as "The most comfortable shoe ever worn," Zeha's Seiger soccer boot with comfy padded toe and luxuriously large opening now enjoys a trendy new life off the field. The Liga epitomizes the simple elegance and practical form of a stylish leather shoe, while the Club and Club Spezial also capture the retro 50's look with bright canvas colors and elegant Italian leather flourishes.

Zeha's funky footwear comes in non-sports fashions as well. The well heeled look of their Urban Classics shoes and boots offer the finest German craftsmanship in handcrafted Italian leather. The handmade leather sole and classic waxed and brushed surface makes them practical and artistic at once.

With the launch of the new Fall/Winter collection, Zeha Berlin will also be previewing their new, Spring/Summer 2008 collections (featured images). As well as a collection of 'Urban Classic' shoes created solely for women Zeha will be debuting its first bag collection featuring their signature craftsmanship and style.

Zeha Berlin will be represented by Axel Menzler at the WSA Show from July 30 - August 2, 2007.

About Zeha Berlin www.am-collections.com

Zeha was founded in Thuringia in 1897, and by the 1950s had risen to become the flagship for sport-shoe manufacture in the former GDR. Zeha is an East German success story which only ground to a halt when the Wall fell. After ceasing production in 1993, Zeha fell into oblivion until 2003, when two Berliners realized their dream of giving the sport shoes of their youth a new lease of life. Building on the legendary models, a new chapter in Zeha's history will now be written with cutting-edge technology and the finest Italian leather - the era of ZEHA Berlin. The design combines traditional forms with the life style of young Berlin - not sports shoes, but rather sport inspired elegant street fashion which meets the challenges of everyday urban life.
