Clifton NJ Author Passes Up King in E-Sales

Holy Moly, Batman! Who'd ever think a girl from the East Side of New York without a formal education could surpass Stephen King in any type of booksale, let alone e-book? Yet, that's what happened the week of July 23, at least it did on Fictionwise, one of the largest distributors of e-books.

Clifton, NJ (PRWEB) July 26, 2007 -- Fictionwise, one of the largest distributor of e-books, has it right there on their website. Under Best-sellers, horror. There it sits, right under #1 Laurell K. Hamilton and just above the #3 King/Bachman tome, BLAZE.

Yes, my friends, right now EBONY is number two on sales on the Fictionwise site in horror. And that means we try harder. This is the author's fourth published book and her second by Whiskey Creek Press. Her other WCP tome, Bound by Blood, debuted in January of this year. Ebony crashed out of the gate June 1. And apparently, is doing well.

LoTempio isn't resting on this accomplishment, though. She's at work on two more novels and shopping around two others, a paranormal mystery and a satire on soap opera. "I'm looking for an agent," she says frankly. "One who'll believe in me and my works." Her goal: to be published by a mainstream publisher within the next five years. Judging from Ebony, she just might make it.
