Southwest Virginia Pet Lovers Have New Online Resource

Pets.roanoke.com: the new site for buying, selling or adopting pets.

Roanoke, VA (PRWEB) August 1, 2007 -- Local pet owners have a new online resource with the launch of http://pets.roanoke.com a website for buying and selling pets, as well as sharing photos, pet-related news and expert advice.

The new site, launched by The Roanoke Times and roanoke.com is powered by Gadzoo.com, a national pet site.

The site will also carry pet-related content that runs in The Roanoke Times, including local pet articles, and "Paws & Claws", a column by Blacksburg veterinarian Jill Bowen.

With a few simple clicks, pet lovers can also post pet pictures, access expert advice, review a directory of pet resources and shop at an online store featuring items for pets and their owners. There is also a section where people can create a tribute to their pet, complete with photos and audio.
