Jesse Goldberg Does Ann Coulter Well

Nashville, Tenn. (PRWEB) August 9, 2007 -- Jesse Goldberg, one of America's funniest singer-songwriters, has created a farcical caricature of well-known commentator and author Ann Coulter. Goldberg wrote the lyrics for this witty satire, "Ann Coulter - Beautiful Annie" (www.jessegoldberg.com).

As an accomplished songwriter, Goldberg combines his strong wit and musical talent to create social and political spoofs. Goldberg's satire of Coulter is just one of many songs that banter at politicians, prominent individuals and social issues. "Comedy and satire are powerful modes of communicating ideas," comments Goldberg.

Recently featured in Nashville's The Tennessean (www.tennessean.com), Goldberg is not your average Nashville singer-songwriter. He is the producer and host of three TV shows, and a lawyer licensed to practice in four states.

Taking his love for music and fostering it for others, Goldberg interviews seasoned musicians on the Mind Your Own Music Business and the Songwriters Show, which air locally several times per week. Both shows aim to educate promising musicians.

Goldberg draws on his legal expertise during his weekly show, Common Law. Known for his relaxed, entertaining style and insightful questions, Goldberg probes his guests as they explore contemporary legal issues.

Music remains Goldberg's first love with humor pervading his lyrics.

His songs lampoon both Democratic and Republican political parties and well-known figures such as Rudoph Giuliani, Hillary Clinton, John McCain and Bill O'Reilly. They also address pervasive topics such as immigration and health care.

Many of Goldberg's political and social parodies have been picked up by YouTube video artist HerBunk (WWW.YouTube.Com/HerBunk) and turned into videos. Goldberg views this arena as another opportunity to express his musical creativity and humor. "I just work at being funny. It's important for public figures to be able to laugh at themselves - maybe my songs encourage that," Goldberg remarks.

His witty songs have won him awards, including the CableACE Award for "It's Honeymooner Time." The song was chosen to promote reruns of the Honeymooners on Showtime.
