Dreams For Kids Host Extreme Recess! On Wednesday August 1st Dreams for Kids children's charity hosted its 10th Annual Adaptive Water Sports Clinic. The event was held at Twin Lakes in Wisconsin. Participants with varying physical and cognitive abilities were assisted by able bodied volunteers in a day of dreams come true. (PRWEB) August 10, 2007 -- Children, who never before experienced the joy of being on a boat, water-skied for the very first time on specially equipped out rigger skies. Other activities included kayaking, swimming, and an adaptive biking obstacle course in the parking lot and a barbeque lunch on the beach.
Dreams for Kids (www.dreamsforkids.org) is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization headquartered in Chicago with a mission to empower young people of all abilities through dynamic leadership programs and life-changing activities that inspire them to fearlessly pursue their dreams and compassionately change the world.
