Travel Double-Header Part of Super September Workshops@Adorama Course Selection

There's still time to register for September Workshops@Adorama courses, which feature Bryan Peterson, a Travel Photography double-header, Adobe Photoshop training, and a Business Panel Discussion for professional photographers.

New York, NY (PRWEB) August 29, 2007 -- It's going to be an exciting September as Adorama Camera, Inc. (www.adorama.com), one of New York's top photo retailers, kicks off its fall semester of Workshops@Adorama (http://www.adorama.com/catalog.tpl?op=WS_List). Started in February 2007, Workshops@Adorama consists of a wide range of hands-on picture-taking sessions for snapshooters and enthusiasts, business and technical advice for professional and aspiring photographers, and inspiring presentations by some of the biggest names in the photography world.

September starts off with a bang. World-famous photography teacher Bryan Peterson will be teaching Master Session: Understanding Exposure and Learning to See Creatively on Sunday, Sept. 9 from 10:00AM-5:00PM. Peterson is famous for his compelling presentations and practical advice on developing your vision.

Travel photographers will be especially interested in a pair of back-to-back Workshops, Travel Photography: Beyond Being There with Arlene Collins on Sunday, Sept. 9 and 23, and Behind the Scenes: Real Life Misadventures of a Travel Photographer, a Special Event with nationally-published photographer, writer and educator Bob Krist, on Monday, Sept. 10 at 6:30pm. The Bob Krist presentation is co-sponsored by Adorama and Nikon.

Two courses are geared towards digital photography beginners: Adobe Photoshop: Beginner's Level Tips and Tricks for Basic Image Improvement Tuesday, Sept. 18, 6:00 PM) and the ABC's of Digital Photography and Digital SLRs. Rounding out the digital offerings is a advanced Workshop on Color Management with Maria Ferrari on Thursday, Sept. 20 at 6:30PM.

The final Workshop of the month is not a Workshop per se; it's a panel discussion on the Business of Photography with Top Industry Photographers' Reps (link?), scheduled for Tuesday Sept. 25, at 6:30PM. It is geared especially towards anyone curious about what a photographer's rep does, learning the benefits of having one, and deciding whether you need one.
