God Must Be Laughing is a collection of short stories based on entries in my writer's journal. I keep a record of people I meet, daily activities and trips I've taken. Three of the stories are from my journal entries while in England and Italy. Some of the stories are based on real life events.

Two of the stories won first place in writing contests, My Favorite Housekeeper from the Tall Tales Contest and Another Mary from the Author's Venue Contest. One story deals with the slaughter of the innocents at the birth of Christ. Another concerns a student and a teacher who are both afraid of heights.
