Contest Helps Create Attention Deficit Disorder Awareness

In recognition of ADHD Awareness Day, Tara McGillicuddy an ADD Coach and the director www.ADDClasses.com is running an ADHD Awareness contest through out the month of September. The purpose of the contest is for those affected by Attention Deficit Disorder to come up with creative ideas on how to create and promote ADHD Awareness.

Middleboro, MA (PRWEB) September 4, 2007 -- Attention Deficit Disorder, also known as ADD, ADHD and AD/HD, is a very common condition which is becoming better known. Chances are that in one way or another the average person is affected by Attention Deficit Disorder. "A person's co-worker, spouse, grandchild, sibling, employee or anybody else for that matter may have Attention Deficit Disorder," says ADD Coach Tara McGillicudy. "Because Attention Deficit Disorder has such a significant impact on so many people the United States Senate has declared September 19, 2007 as National Attention Deficit Disorder Awareness Day."

Tara McGillicuddy along with others in the professional ADHD service community have donated prizes to the ADHD Awareness Contest. Tara has donated a 6 month membership to the ADD Audio Library (http://www.addaudiolibrary.com) and a 3 month membership to the new ADD Book Club (http://www.adhdbookclub.com). Life Lifters has donated a copy of the ADD Audio Coach. The ADD Coach Academy has donated a copy of the DVD Me, My ADD Coach, and I. The ADD Management Group has also donated a copy of the new book Odd One Out: The Maverick's Guide to Adult ADD.

The ADHD Awareness Contest is open to members of www.adhdawareness.org. The contest will be open until September 30, 2007 and winners of the contest will be notified through the ADHD Awareness site during the week of October 1, 2007 by Tara McGillicuddy. The screen names of the contest winners will also be posted on the ADHD Awareness site during the week of October 1, 2007
