Melbourne, Australia (PRWEB) September 5, 2007 -- A new university survey seeks to explore the relationships between Employee Performance Management systems and organisational effectiveness. The survey is being run jointly by researchers from RMIT University, La Trobe Graduate School of Management and the Performance Management Institute of Australia.

The survey aims to identify the role of performance management in contributing and adding value to organisational strategies and goals, and hence to develop improved systems.

While targetted at middle managers , senior managers and executives, responses will also be accepted from other occupational levels. Linkages will be examined between employee performance management processes and measurable organisation outcomes. All areas of business, government and not-for-profit organisations will be surveyed.

Ethics approval has been received from La Trobe University and the confidentiality of all respondent information will be strictly preserved, as required by this process. Aggregated data from the survey will be published in scholarly and professional journals, but no individual data will be revealed.

Participation in the survey is valuable, and will contribute to the development of performance management systems in all industry and government sectors.
