Arxan Announces Panel Participation At Upcoming Digital Rights Strategies Event

Arxan CTO and industry experts to explore effective strategies for securing DRM.

Bethesda, MD (PRWEB) September 12, 2007 -- Arxan Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of intellectual property (IP) protection solutions designed to prevent software piracy and tampering, today announces that CTO Mike Atallah will be a panelist at Digital Rights Strategies 2007, taking place in New York on September 17. Atallah will participate in a presentation, entitled, "How Secure Does DRM Have to Be?" The presentation will discuss the benefits and tradeoffs in cost and convenience of securing a DRM platform for both consumers and vendors.

Content providers, carriers and distributors have implemented technologies such as DRM, watermarking and fingerprint to safeguard content. However, these solutions are not bulletproof and themselves remain exposed to tampering and reverse engineering techniques. Atallah will explore the key facets of content protection that are often overlooked in preventing media piracy. Attendees will learn how critical it is to safeguard digital media software applications to effectively protect digital content.
