The Labor'Lert™ stopwatch (www.laborlert.com) received an amazing response from major American and international retailers, international distributors and manufacturers’ representatives, Conley said. “It was clear following the show that Labor'Lert™ needed its own site where people could get more information about the product.

“The Labor'Lert™ was placed in the innovative new products area of the show,” Conley said. “We heard constantly from buyers that they had specifically sought out our booth after shopping the new products display. The Labor'lert™ is the first and only handheld stopwatch that times and records the length and distance apart of a woman's labor contraction pains. The unit is operated by pressing a button at the onset of the beginning of a labor pain and again at the end of the pain. The built in computer then automatically calculates and displays the length, frequency, and number of contractions the woman has had. After three contractions, the unit displays the averages for those statistics. When not in use as a contraction timer, the unit displays a continuous countdown to the baby's due date.
