Cigna CEO, Ed Hanway was presented with the WCBF Lean Six Sigma CEO of the Year Award by Instantis CEO, Prasad Raje in April 2007.

Providence Health & Services is a finalist in the "Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Healthcare" category, and Hexion Specialty Chemicals, Inc. and Lonmin Plc are finalists in the "Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Healthcare" category.
