Forget Cats, Dogs and Even Men, it is Raining Cars a Sony Ad Makes it on to the Small Screen Advert takes viewers into the heart of Blu-ray technology. (PRWEB) October 24, 2007 -- Sony's latest advert, for its Blu-ray disc (http://www.blu-ray.sony-europe.com/main/en/intro) technology, is now showing on UK TV.
The advert, which has already attracted a cult following online, brings to life the technology behind Blu-ray disc (http://www.blu-ray.sony-europe.com/main/en/intro) and transports viewers into a world where anything is possible. Past, present and future all come together, in a landscape lit by blue lasers - cars fall from the sky, raindrops play drum kits and riot police clash with a raging horde of gladiators.
Created by advertising agency Fallon, the Blu-ray advert (http://www.blu-ray.sony-europe.com/main/en/intro) was filmed on location in an industrial chimney in Hungary. It forms part of a wider European campaign that will include cinema, print and online promotion, under the tag line 'entertainment like. no. other.' The campaign focuses on the role Blu-ray disc (http://www.blu-ray.sony-europe.com/main/en/intro) will play in shaping the future of entertainment, across games and film.
If you can't wait to catch the advert on TV you can view it in full at the Museum of Low Res (http://www.blu-ray.sony-europe.com/player/player.php?lang=en) (MoLR). MoLR is a virtual, interactive series of exhibitions where visitors can discover the capabilities of Blu-ray technology and find out for themselves how it will change home entertainment forever blu-ray.sony-europe.com/main/en/intro
