A new device created by I AM smart technologies™ disrupts electricity to selected appliances at the sound of a smoke or carbon monoxide detector. Known as Smart Switch, this new technology will reduce the likelihood of household fires or carbon monoxide poisoning.

Smart Switch is the only product on the market to interrupt the flow of electricity or gas to targeted appliances in case of a fire.

A house fire is reported every 82 seconds and nearly 3,000 individuals die of household fires each year, according to the National Fire Protection Association.
