Signing Time! Releases Four More Volumes of its Second Series Just in Time for the Holidays

Available for pre-order on November 12th.

Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) November 12, 2007 -- Two Little Hands Productions, creators of the popular Signing Time! (www.signingtime.com) DVD series and hit public television show, has released four new DVDs as part of Series Two entitled My Favorite Season, Going Outside, Days of the Week and My Favorite Sports just in time for the holiday season.

The Signing Time series teaches babies, toddlers and children of all abilities to communicate using American Sign Language (ASL). Two Little Hands Productions, producers and distributors of Signing Time, released three new volumes earlier this year, including Nice to Meet You, Happy Birthday to You and Move and Groove, and has achieved a revolutionary turn-around making four more additional volumes available.

Featuring Rachel de Azevedo Coleman, her daughter Leah -- who is deaf -- along with Alex -- Leah’s cousin, who can hear -- and their animated pet frog Hopkins, Signing Time offers an unparalleled multi-sensory approach. With Series One and Series Two containing 13 volumes each, Signing Time has become the largest library of entertaining signing videos of its kind available. Signing Time reaches children with diverse learning styles and encourages interaction through signing, singing, speaking and moving. Series Two helps children attain a deeper understanding of the proper use of classifiers as they continue building a strong ASL vocabulary.

“This series is a direct result of the demand for a fun, interactive, educational show that helps build ASL vocabulary, communication, self-confidence and verbal skills,” said Rachel Coleman, host, songwriter and co-creator of Signing Time (www.signingtime.com). “We are excited to release even more volumes that will encourage signing and help children understand relationships between words.”

As early as nine months, babies and toddlers can learn to communicate through signs. Research shows that babies who learn to sign may experience reduced frustrations and fewer tantrums, enhanced cognitive development and increased IQ scores, increased bonding with parents, increased interest in books, and quicker development of speaking, spelling and reading skills.

These new volumes will be available online for pre-order on November 12th, and will ship beginning December 3rd.
