New Jersey Native Liz Wojtal performs live in New York and New Jersey hot spots. The release of her second CD "Better Days" this year continues to be a success among new and old fans alike. Liz and her band "Next of Kin" will be at CBGB's Gallery this Sunday (2/9) at 10:00pm

Singer/Songwriter Liz Wojtal is no stranger to the New York/New Jersey music scene. Performing her original music and cover tunes alike, Liz and her Band "Next of Kin" have been favorites in music venues for the past 5 years. Having graced many a stage in hot spots like The Stone Pony, CBGB's Gallery, Kenny's Castaways, and The Crossroads, Liz and the band enjoy a loyal following of fans, young and old alike. Her music style is folk rock reminiscent of the bands that she says insprired her growing up like Joni Mitchell, The Eagles, Creedence Cleerwater Revival, and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. "Being the youngest of 12 kids gave me a very wide exposure to different kinds of music, and it really helped me appreciate everything from the big bands to Led Zeppelin", says Wojtal, who has recorded two albums worth of orginal music as an independent artist. Her band, Next of Kin is comprised solely of members from her talented family (hence the name).
