Fired Morning Radio Star Teams With Santa Claus To Create Christmas Holiday MP3 Called "Clauscast" Radio Morning Host Mark Kaye strikes business partnership with Santa to bring Santa Claus Podcast to kids and families all over the world. Jacksonville, FL (PRWEB) November 29, 2007 -- Despite his number one ratings and millions of loyal listeners in Washington DC and Baltimore, Morning Radio Host Mark Kaye was fired from his award-winning program the day after Halloween. With a three-month-old Baby at home and the holidays bearing down, Mark wasted no time in finding his next big opportunity. Little did he know he'd be working with the biggest star in holiday history - Santa Claus.
"I love Santa Claus," explains Kaye, "I also love radio and broadcasting. It just seemed natural to put the two together. Plus, I had a ton of recording equipment and a whole lot of free-time." Kaye called his agent, who as luck would have it also represented Santa Claus. "My agent scheduled a lunch, I pitched the Big Guy my idea and he loved it! A few weeks later the first Clauscast was in the can."
Now in it's second year, Kaye and Claus have updated http://www.Clauscast.com and improved the holiday MP3 recordings. Subscribers from all over the US have signed on to receive Santa's podcasts. Each "Santa Fanatic" who subscribes to the service receives a new Clauscast each week along with some special surprises. "Mrs. Claus bought Santa a PDA so he can send and receive email from anywhere in the world," says Kaye. "In each Clauscast listeners hear Santa's email address so they can email Santa directly. It really comes in handy for kids that have last-minute gift requests or need to inform Santa of improved behavior and possible 'Nice List' status."
Also, Kaye and Claus are publishing a North Pole Newsletter with updates from the top of the Earth. Plus, some of Santa's Elves get in on the fun. "There is this one Elf," says Kaye, "His name is Theodore. He considers himself a real stand-up comedian; loves to tell jokes and make all the other Elves laugh. Well, Santa and I helped him record his own holiday comedy special. It's hilarious. And, every Clauscast recipient will get to hear it."
Since partnering with Santa, Mark Kaye has resurrected his morning show and can now be heard on every morning on WAPE-FM in Jacksonville, FL. Despite his busy broadcast schedule Mark continues to work closely with Santa Claus and the Elves to produce and market these unique Santa Claus podcasts.
"I love it!" beams Kaye. "For a lot of people getting fired weeks before Christmas would be a nightmare. For me, it was a Christmas miracle!"
