Duesenberg & Leik LLC Offering Title Sponsorship for NASCAR Nationwide Insurance Series Keith Duesenberg and Dwayne Leik partnering again for a run in the new NASCAR Nationwide Insurance Series in 2008. Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) November 21, 2007 -- Keith Duesenberg & Leik Motorsports LLC have announced a proposal for 2008 title sponsorship in the NASCAR Nationwide insurance series (schedule of the 35 race venues available on request).
Keith Duesenberg is the grand nephew of the famous Duesenberg brothers whose cars won the Indy 500 three times in the 1920's.His credentials include experience as a driver and many years experience as a owner/ manager of teams in both Nascar, the Indy Racing League and the Infiniti Pro series. He consistently spots up-and-coming talent and has had drivers such as Al Unser ("just call me Al"), Marco Andretti, Phil Geibler, in the IRL, and the very talented Jay Sauter driving the KD&L Western Union sponsored car last year.
Dwayne Leik has many years of experience as driver, manager, and crew member with several teams in Nascar and Arca. He knows the "ins and outs" of Nascar, and this experience bodes well for a sponsor or sponsors both in cost and effectiveness.
The partners raced with Western Union as sponsor in 2006 with good success as a "rookie" team. The team led the race at Michigan and finished several races in the top twenty with a best finish of 7th at O'Reilly Raceway Park.
