107,500+ Downloads & Counting - Martial Arts Explorer Podcast Viewership Explodes

Minneapolis, MN; St Paul, MN (PRWEB) November 28, 2007 -- In the spring of 2006 Scot Combs and Michael Klinepier came up with an idea for promoting their non-profit martial arts school. They decided to develop their own video podcast and hoped to generate a little local buzz. The buzz has gone world wide with monthly downloads in excess of 100,000 from the US, Canada, Spain, Australia, Netherlands, South Korea, Brazil, Great Briton, Japan, China, Taiwan and more.

Co-host Michael Klinepier says he's very pleased ... "Downloads like this were a fantasy of ours ... and more than 100,000 is huge for most podcasts; not to mention one that focuses on such a small portion of the population. We're very pleasantly surprised and grateful to all our viewers."

Martial Arts Explorer is now developing a website (www.martialartsexplorer.tv) to support their burgeoning podcast audience. Plans are in the works for additional video podcast series such as an adventure program where the host trains with martial artists from all over the word in exotic locations and another that focuses on sport martial arts like tournament forms (open hand & weapons), point fighting, full contact kick boxing, grappling and mixed martial arts. Other topics under consideration are health & wellness, exercise & fitness and, the ever popular, more.

Co-host Scot Combs says they are currently in talks with potential partners to develop the new programming and aid in advertising sales ... "We're currently talking with several key players who we think will help us move to the next level.
