Mobile, AL (PRWEB) November 30, 2007 -- Earlier this week, Goodfellow Hosting announced its name change to GoodFella Hosting -- a name more fitting to the mafia theme of the site from which GoodFella Hosting operates. This change took place immediately following Blue Aegis Software's acquisition of the domain name GoodFellaHosting.com, which the software and website development company has been trying to acquire since starting its domain name and webhosting services in 2002.
According to Roy Pope, owner of Blue Aegis Software, the name change to GoodFella Hosting is a huge accomplishment. To celebrate the acquisition of the new domain name and the name change of the company, GoodFella Hosting has begun offering domain name registration services, at prices far below market prices. This celebration will last up to Midnight (CST) December 25, 2007, after which time prices of all products and services will be adjusted. But don't look for huge adjustments in prices -- as Goodfellow Hosting, Blue Aegis Software has always priced its domain names and web hosting services at less than a third the price of domain name giants Network Solutions, Register.com, and Enom, and as GoodFella Hosting the plan remains the same -- to offer domain names and web hosting services at prices that can't be refused!
Enhancements to the operations web site include a searchable articles database. Articles within the database cover topics such as domain name registration, investing and speculating in domain names for profit, benefiting from expiring domain names in the Yahoo!, and DMOZ directories, selecting a web host that's right for you and much more. The site also offers RSS feeds to the article database so that webmasters can add the article headlines to their sites for additional content -- a feature which search enigne spiders love to gobble up.
Efforts at GoodFella Hosting are also underway to integrate an Expiring Names search engine into the site. Completion of this project is expected no later than December 8, 2007, but could come even sooner than that if everything goes as planned. Once completed, the search engine will allow users to locate domain names within the Yahoo! directory that are expiring, or that have recently expired. The search engine will feature display of not only the domain names that are expiring, but also their Google page ranks, and a count of both their Google and Yahoo! backlinks.
