Rebtel Opens Mobile VoIP Service in China

China gets its first taste of mobile VoIP and free international calling starting Friday 21 December thanks to global communications company, Rebtel. The Rebtel service in China launches first in Shanghai, one the most populous cities in the world, with more than 6 million ex-pats in need of low-cost calling to keep in touch with friends, family and business colleagues at home.

Rebtel calls from Shanghai will cost $0.019 to U.K. landlines, and $0.18 to U.K. mobile phones. Using Rebtel to call Shanghai from London will be the same as from the U.S.: $0.019 per minute.
